Die Vendée ist im Februar ok. Das Wetter ist mild und wenn die Sonne scheint, dann ist es natürlich besser als im grauen Rheinland. Aber im Frühling, also um Ostern rum und im Sommer ist natürlich alles schöner und leichter. Wir sind in Coëx, um ein paar Dinge zu regeln: die alte Hütte abreissen, das Fundament für den neuen Abri de Jardin zu giessen (ähm giessen zu lassen) und ein paar Formalitäten zu erledigen. Die Fahrt zum Feriendomizil haben wir in 2 Etappen gemacht, wie üblich in Rouen auf einem Bauerhof übernachtet. Bruno durfte dort zu ersten Mal frei laufen, da die Hühner eingesperrt und die Kühe weit, weit weg waren. Er hat am Morgen nach der Gassi-Runde eine Ratte erlegt und mächtig Eindruck auf die Bäuerin gemacht. Es war noch dämmerig, er hat etwas gehört oder gesehen, ist hingerannt und einen Happs gemacht, es quietschte, Bruno hat noch einmal gecheckt und kam dann wieder. Als es hell war hab ich nachgeschaut: eine fette Ratte lag tot im Gras. Hm.
In Coëx angekommen wurden wir mit Sonnenschein begrüßt. Auch die beiden folgenden Tage war es recht hübsch. Leider regnet es nun und alles fühlt sich etwas blöder an. Kommende Woche soll das Fundament für den neuen Abri de Jardin gegossen werden, bis dahin muss die alte Hütte weg. Mal sehn, ob wir das schaffen.

Mais au printemps, autour de Pâques et en été, bien sûr, tout est plus agréable et plus facile. Bruno a été autorisé à y courir en liberté pour la première fois car les poules étaient enfermées et les vaches étaient loin, très loin. Il a tué un rat le lendemain et a fait forte impression sur la fermière. C'était encore le crépuscule, il a entendu ou vu quelque chose, il a couru et a pris une bouchée, ça a couiné, Bruno a vérifié à nouveau puis est revenu. Quand il fit jour, je vérifiai : un gros rat était mort dans l'herbe. Hmm Arrivés à Coëx nous avons été accueillis par le soleil. Les deux jours suivants, c'était plutôt sympa aussi. Malheureusement, il pleut maintenant et tout semble un peu stupide. Les fondations du nouvel abri de jardin doivent être coulées la semaine prochaine, d'ici là l'ancienne cabane doit partir. Voyons si nous pouvons le faire.

But in spring, around Easter and in summer, of course, everything is more pleasant and easier. The foundations of the new garden shed must be poured next week, by then the old hut must leave. Let's see if we can do it.
